Raw Cow Meat drops when a Cow is killed. This meat like any other raw meat needs to be cooked at a Campfire. If you eat it raw you will get 2 hunger blocks back, but you will also lose a bit of your health. The cooked meat is much better, and gives 4 hunger back.
